Lisa Patrizia, MA, EdS, LPCC

Lisa Patrizia, MA, EdS, LPCC #8418, has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families in clinical counseling roles for more than 10 years. Through in-home, community, school-based, and outpatient therapy practice, Lisa has focused on supporting children, adolescents, and caregivers to find increased connection, understanding, and movement through the stuck and painful places they come to in the course of development. Tuning into the patterns that exist in our closest relationships, Lisa partners with clients and families to explore sources of distress and resilience. Lisa brings creativity, play, and humor into her work with clients of all ages. Lisa offers individual, parent/caregiver, and family/group sessions with an emphasis on welcoming new awareness and ways of relating in order to support change and healing.

Lisa incorporates extensive training in structural family systems therapy as well as psychodynamic, attachment, trauma, and neuroscience informed models. In addition, Lisa has experience working with interdisciplinary teams to collaboratively support child and adolescent social emotional needs in the IEP process. Lisa’s work focuses on supporting individuals and families navigating conflict and stress due to transitions or life changes, parenting, academic, social-emotional and behavioral concerns, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, gender and sexuality concerns, adoption and foster care, divorce/separation, and peer or family discord. Lisa offers a developmentally attuned and inclusive space for children and teens and often incorporates art, play, and somatic interventions to welcome multiple avenues of expression and honor mind/body interrelatedness.
